Paper Tulip Card

Updated: May 4, 2021

Perfect for Mothers Day or any occasion :)

What you need:

-craft paper

-paint: I used pink + orange paint but what ever color you choose will be just as beautiful

-green paint for stem and leaves

-scissors

-glue

-a brown paper bag for the pot

I wanted to include my almost 11 month old to this Mothers Day project, so I prepared a mess free ziplock painting for her to spread the paint around.

PETALS

Once the paint is dry, cut paper into fours. You will only need 3 of each (total 6 squares; 3 pink, 3 orange)

-fold paper in half.

-draw a half tear drop shape with a pencil (pictured below)

-cut and use as stencil for the remaining 5 squares.

-there should be 6 tear drop shapes for the tulip petals.

-glue pieces together as pictured

STEM

-I used a forest green color for the stem and leaves

-once the paint is dry, cut and paste onto the tulip

FLOWER POT

CARD

-glue flowers and pot to your card

-use left over paper to create a "mom" or "grandma" label.

Our special card is going to grandma ❤
