Couple summers ago we drove for 7 hours to Salmon Arm. Beautiful weather, surrounded by mountains and mini farm land, it was sureal. I was inspired to paint the little things that surrounded me, which made for a nice relaxing and easy panting exercise. While out on a walk or in your backyard, take a look around you and collect little trinkets such as leaves, pine cones, wild flowers, sticks, etc and re-create them on to paper. Remember, it does not have to be perfect, it's the imperfections that make your art unique.

What I used:

-pencil (I drew the leaves, flowers and pinecone 1st)

-watercolor paints

-watercolor paper
