Easy DIY sun catchers.

What you need:

-cardboard paper or thick craft paper

-paint

-pencil

-cellophane paper

-glue

-exacto knife or utility cutter

STEPS

1) Draw your dinosaur

2) Using an exacto knife/utility cutter, carefully cut out the pieces that will have the cellophane paper attached. Then cut the outline of the dinosaur. (Make sure to have a thick cardboard or cutting mat underneath so that you don't scratch your table!)

3) This step is optional, paint the dinosaur.

5) Glue the cellophane paper on the back of the cardboard where the cut outs are.

6) Trim off the edges once the glue is dry. Draw a face if you like!

7) So that this little bugger can stand, cut and fold a couple pieces of cardboard and glue it to the back of the legs.

8) Lastly, place them in direct sunlight and watch your creation shine.

I find the evening sun gives off nice long shadows.
